Now that I am just about over my "jet lag" just wanted to say thank you.

The cruise was fantastic and I have never known such brilliant interaction between "the stripes" and guests. To have a Captain singing and playing his guitar in the theatre was something else. It seemed to be a party every night and well I am not rude but I had to join in!!

Good morning ladies!

It is 2 weeks today since our return from Beijing after 6 weeks away on our ‘great adventure’.  

We would like to thank you for all the arrangements you made on our behalf;  everything went to plan.  The seating on all the flights was as we wanted.  When we arrived in Auckland we were met by a smart driver and limousine supplied by travelcube and we were swiftly taken to our Auckland hotel – the Copthorne. The hotel was first rate and we had a 12th floor room overlooking the harbour.  From our room we watched the Diamond Princess arrive on the morning of embarkation and it was a two minute walk from the hotel to the ship.  Couldn’t have been better!

We thoroughly enjoyed the 5 week cruise ending in Beijing.  The Capital Hotel in Beijing which Nicola had arranged was ideally situated – only 5 minutes walk from Tianamen Square and the Forbidden City.  As a bonus we had been upgraded to a de luxe room in Tower A because there were 10,000 Government delegates in Beijing for the Annual Convention, and Tower B of our hotel had been totally taken over for some of them.  The hotel, our room and restaurant were first rate with English-speaking staff.  We would certainly recommend this hotel.

Our one slight concern was whether the non-English-speaking driver from travelcube would arrive at 2.45 a.m. on our last day as arranged so long ago.  However on the day before,  we received a message confirming he would be waiting in the lobby at the agreed time and quoting all our flight arrangements.  So again, everything was perfect.

The arrangements with travelcube for the hotels and transport were excellent.

We look forward to discussing our next cruise with you – we’ve already started saving and planning!

We definitely made the right choice with the ship thanks to you for recommending it and thanks for sorting out the problem with the Persian Garden. They were aware of it when we booked !  We are so glad we went for the sky suite. The room and bathroom were perfect and the whole ship was just gorgeous.
